SIX current and former British Champions are on the list of seeded riders for the 2025 Attis Insurance Sports Division British Final at Belle Vue on Monday May 12.
The ten seeds have been confirmed for the showdown at the National Speedway Stadium, nine of them based on their UK averages, including Aces favourite Dan Bewley who will be going for a fourth British title in succession.
Former winners Charles Wright, Danny King, Chris Harris and Adam Ellis are also straight through to Manchester, along with previous runners-up Richard Lawson, Tom Brennan and Steve Worrall and the in-form Anders Rowe.
World No.2 Robert Lambert, who was British Champion in 2018, is also a confirmed starter as Wild Card.
British Speedway is delighted to once again link up with Attis Insurance Sports Division who will take on the title sponsorship of this Major Event for a second season, and tickets will be available from 10am on Tuesday April 15.
The remaining six places in the meeting are to be determined from the semi-final at Leicester on Thursday May 1.
Two current Lions riders are included in the line-up for that meeting with Kyle Howarth and Drew Kemp looking to make it through from their home track at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park.
And there are a host of other riders with Leicester connections including Dan Thompson, who has started the season in blistering form, his twin brother Joe, Lewis Kerr, Craig Cook and Connor Mountain.
Four current Rising Stars from the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership – Jordan Jenkins, Leon Flint, Jason Edwards and Ashton Boughen – will be looking to be in the mix for a top six finish, whilst at the other end of the experience range Ben Barker, who was third in the British Final as recently as 2023, will also be keen to make it through.
